Associate Regional Account Manager - Higher Education

We are seeking an outstanding sales candidate to be our Associate Regional Account Manager within our Higher Education Team.  This position is located in the Pittsburgh office and is a critical piece of the success of the team.  In this fast paced position, you will work with our exitsing and potential customers and also with colleagues in all departments throughout our company. 

Responsibilities

  • Works directly with the Regional Account Managers to develop a strategy for achieving sales order goals and customer accounts.
  • Learn the roles and responsibilities of regional account managers
  • Assist the Higher Education sales Director as needed
  • Assist in conference readiness and attend conferences as needed.
  • Establish appointments for the Regional account Managers.
  • Utilize Sales Director and Rams as mentors
  • Assist with executing sales campaigns by qualifying leads, closing sales and providing support where needed.
  • Work with sales and marketing coordinator for HED on marketing campaigns and initiatives
  • Act as the primary contact for customer questions and issues as well as prospects.
  • Create and execute initiatives to penetrate new accounts
  • Provide product introduction and demonstration.  Explain product offerings and features and benefits.
  • Gather and distribute information from prospects and route initial information requests.
  • Provide support to sales campaigns.
  • Work with customers, potential customers and their regional team in all facets of the sales and implementation process for company products.
  • Closing sales through the use of the following methods; internet leads, marketing campaigns, direct inbound calls, cold call prospecting and up selling current customers.
  • Gather information on potential customer base through the use of the following methods; internet leads, marketing campaigns, direct inbound calls, cold call prospecting and up selling current customers.

Requirements

  • 3+ Years knowledge and understanding of sales.
  • Bachelor’s Degree using area of specialty
  • Understanding of technical and non technical documents as it relates to the sales of and contracts for the company’s products.
  • Assessment techniques of examining, questioning, evaluating and reporting sales.
