Editorial Project Manager

The Editorial Project Manager coordinates the development of our training and curriculum materials. This position is responsible for creating project specification documents and tracking progress, coordinating external vendors project schedules and budgets, and reviewing and editing copy (as needed).

Responsiblities:

  • Coordinate with external vendors to assure the a high quality product that is delivered on time and budget.
  • Create project schedules, including identification of resource requirements, time requirements, and cost requirements. Track work of internal and external resources against established schedules and budgets.
  • Develop and maintain project specification documentation. Share part or all of specification with external vendors as appropriate.
  • Track internal and external feedback for product improvement. Develop timeline for integrating feedback into the products.
  • Contribute as needed to review and copy editing of various instructional materials. Work with internal resources to develop copy editing and developmental editing skills over time.

Ideal Candidate Requirements:

  • B.S. degree.
  • Minimum of 2 years experience in a project management role for an educational publisher.
  • Experience as copy editor.
  • Experience with math publisher a plus.
