Logistics Manager
The Logistics Manager is responsible for all post-booking order fulfillment and management processes. This position interfaces with customers and suppliers and works closely with other departments including curriculum development, sales, accounting, and customer support.
Responsibilities:
- Manage Carnegie Learning's inventory in our warehouses and in the depository warehouses.
- Maintain and reconcile the database inventory in Oracle and generate reports.
- Approve all Return Request shipments to ensure that customer obligations are consistently met.
- Assist in building product forecasts by analyzing customer deferred orders and sales forecasts.
- Act as a liaison to the curriculum development, print management and sales teams to ensure adequate inventory cycle.
- Increase on-time fulfillment by creating, monitoring and meeting Key Performance Indicators (KPI)
- Create daily reports, panning and analysis to manage customer shipments.
- Identify, create and implement corrective actions to eliminate errors and discrepancies.
Ideal Candidate Requirements:
- Bachelor of Science/Arts or equivalent experience.
- At least five years of inventory and fulfillment management with a highly successful track record.
- Good understanding of Oracle ERP applications.
- Excellent oral and written communications skills.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Demonstrated success in working with customers and vendors and across departments within the company.
