Engage Every Student

Our MATHia and Cognitive Tutor software personalizes instruction with ongoing formative assessment and features the most precise method of differentiated instruction available to ensure students receive the immediate support they need to master mathematics concepts and skills. With Carnegie Learning software, students have all the resources they need to succeed and teachers have the information they need to accelerate growth and intervene when necessary.

Concrete, real-world scenarios engage students in reasoning and problem-solving usage.

Context-driven, just-in-time hints help students solve key steps in problems and are tracked so educators can see where students are looking for additional help.

The Skillometer® tracks each keystroke and movement by students to ensure each student achieves mastery before progressing to the next topic in the curriculum.

Interactive, step-by-step examples support students in modeling how to solve problems.

See It, Try It concept-building videos visually explain key concepts of a unit and allow students to explore these concepts through animation, videos, and virtual manipulatives.

Multiple representations encourage students to express problems in a variety of ways, including numerically, graphically, and verbally via word problems.

Game-like Fluency Challenges encourage students to learn mathematics to a level of automaticity which allows students to learn advanced topics more easily.

Personalization options such as selecting interest areas, crew members, themes, and more, increase student interest by giving students more control and choice within their experience.

Motivational features including badges, “Message of the Day”, and dynamic lesson maps ensure students are actively engaged in the software.
