Carnegie Learning, Inc., the leading publisher of research-based math curricula, reported today that San Diego Unified School District (SDUSD) has purchased Carnegie Learning’s Cognitive Tutor® Bridge to Algebra program as part of the District’s plan to improve Adequate Yearly Progress (AYP) performance in 11 middle and high schools. Trenton City and Bridgeport support a combined 58 schools and more than 34,000 students. Macomb County, MI Joins RAND Study to Evaluate Carnegie Learning, Inc. The program mixes 40 percent computer lab time with 60 percent class time and is new to FCHS, according to math teacher Karen Nix. Students in computer lab access the Internet-based program through a desktop icon, Nix says, and teachers can examine each student's daily work from the site.
