Activating Java in Firefox
Ongoing changes to Carnegie Learning servers may require Cognitive Tutor and MATHia users to reactivate the Java plugin for the Firefox browser.
What will students see?
After clicking the Cognitive Tutor or MATHia Prime buttons, students will see a black window with a building block and a link underneath, prompting them to activate Java.
What can students do?
Follow these instructions to activate the Java plugin within the Firefox browser:
1. Click the link labeled Activate Java.
2. Click the red building block in the top left corner
3. Click the "Show All" button
4. Change all available options to "Allow and Remember"
