Chris Minnich serves as the Strategic Initiative Director of Standards, Assessment & Accountability at the Council of Chief State School Officers ("CCSSO"). Chris leads the standards and assessment work at CCSSO, where they are currently working on implementing common standards across states. In addition, the assessment group is working on new assessment forms that use student work from the classroom to evaluate performance rather than an end of year summative assessment
