Educators will learn to effectively utilize Teacher’s Toolkit reports in order to guide student reflection and drive instruction. Participants will identify what report(s) to run to meet specific data needs (individual, group, etc.), develop manageable routines for regularly running and monitoring data, and acquire tools to assist students in self-monitoring.
Jessica joined Carnegie Learning in July 2012 after spending 7 years as a teacher, Reading First instructor, and Title I and Intervention coordinator with a focus on accountability and improvement of performance and achievement. Working in compliance with federal program requirements, Jessica used a variety of assessments, observations, and data to identify areas in need of improvement and guide reform, assisting in school-wide improvement. As a committee member with the Pennsylvania Department of Education and the Data Recognition Corporation, Jessica has remained at the forefront of the Common Core State Standards Initiative assisting in the development of CCSS assessments and anchors. At Carnegie Learning, she works with schools utilizing the Carnegie Learning School Improvement and Innovation Model to guide and ensure a successful implementation of math curricula and best practices leading to increased student achievement. Using a variety of data measures and reports, Jessica assists schools in analyzing performance and achievement data and identifying key next steps.
