LONG + LIVE + MATH has always been about transformation and the educators like you who are making it happen every day. This year, we need to come together more than ever.
Hundreds of passionate educators attended the 10th annual conference in beautiful Bonita Springs, Florida. The takeaways are several fold, but it is our hope that you will take with you new strategies for your class, building or district, gain new perspective, experience rewarding conversations with peers from across the country, extend your network exponentially, and leave feeling energized and ready to start the school year. At the end of the conference, we believe that you will be ready to “Join the Movement.”
What do past attendees say about LONG + LIVE + MATH: The National Institute?
Isn’t LONG + LIVE + MATH: The National Institute normally an in-person thing?
Yes! And it will be again! Due to COVID-19, and because we value your health and safety, we made the decision to go virtual for 2020! What we love about that is that it gives us the opportunity to share even more educational best practices with you!
Who should attend LONG + LIVE + MATH: The National Institute?
The conference is open to educators and leaders for all grade levels, K-12. You don’t need to be using Carnegie Learning’s instructional materials to attend. While there are several sessions geared toward those using Carnegie Learning’s instructional materials, that’s not all we have to offer. There are a multitude of sessions geared toward best practices in math, developing and reinforcing mathematical concepts, educational research, and leadership for a range of grade bands.
In order to meet the needs of a wide range of teachers and administrators from grades K-12, the National Institute will offer a variety of breakout sessions so you can create a personal agenda that is tailor made to your interests and district initiatives. You can find out more about attendee options here.
What is the difference between a general attendee and an advanced educator attendee?
General attendees are K-12 math teachers and leaders attending the main conference. General attendees are able to create a personalized agenda by selecting a la carte workshop offerings to tailor their experience to their exact specifications.
Advanced Educators are current Carnegie Learning customers who have used a CL product for at least one year. Advanced Educator sessions will begin one day prior to the conference start, and attendees on this track will receive an intensive week of training designed to enhance their ability to support their CL implementation, as well as participate in the general conference events.

You will, and we have good news! We will send everything you need directly to you. All content for every breakout session will be available online for any registered attendee.
