Advanced Educator Attendee
If you are a lead teacher with at least one year of experience using the Carnegie Learning Math Solution, then join us as an Advanced Educator Attendee. You’ll receive all the great perks of a General Attendee, but will also enjoy an extended workshop to help you lead and support your colleagues in transforming the math classroom.

What will I take away from the LONG + LIVE + MATH National Institute?
You’ll learn new teaching and leadership strategies, and gain exciting new perspectives on math education. You’ll have some of the most rewarding conversations with peers from across the country, extending your network exponentially. You’ll also leave feeling energized and ready to start the new school year, dreaming bigger and expecting more than you did before.
Since it’s an inclusive package, how does travel work if I bring my family?
You have 2 options:
You can elect to book your own travel. Carnegie Learning will reimburse the cost of your flight up to a maximum of $450. You’ll need to collect a reimbursement packet onsite at the Institute and submit your receipt for airfare.
You can have Carnegie Learning book your flight and let us know that you want to book the same flights for family. Once we book the flight, we’ll notify you within 24 hours so you can book the same flights for family members. Please note that Carnegie Learning will not book flights or reimburse travel costs for individuals who aren’t registered for the National Institute.
Who should attend LONG + LIVE + MATH: The National Institute?
Educators and leaders who are focused on transformative math learning. The National Institute will have sessions on best practices in math, developing and reinforcing mathematical concepts, educational research, and leadership for a range of grade bands. You’ll even create your own personalized agenda to make sure you attend sessions that will best serve you in the coming school year.
How much does the Institute cost?
Our pricing is inclusive, which means that once you register, you don’t have to worry about a thing. We’ll take care of your travel arrangements, your meals during the Institute, and all of your materials.
Yes! You are welcome to use the same travel agent that we use. It is important to note that the agency charges a fee of $34 per itinerary. If you would like to use that option, we can provide contact information for our agency. You can also book directly with the airlines, or any travel site you prefer.
How will I get from the airport to the Institute?
We recommend that you use a rideshare service or shuttle to get from the airport to the hotel and back. SuperShuttle service is available from the airport for about $16.00 each way.
How can I indicate special needs or travel preferences?
During the registration process, you’ll receive guided questions to help us build your travel profile. There will be opportunities within the registration process to indicate any travel preferences, or other specific needs or restrictions.
What if I want to extend my stay?
We know that people often like to extend their trips to enjoy a little downtime in a great location. If you’d like to extend your stay before or after the conference, please contact us. We can usually help you get a great resort rate!
Can I bring family members with me?
Yes, you are welcomed to travel with family, though please note that Institute meals and sessions are for paid registrants only.
When will airfare be booked?
Airfare is typically booked in mid-late May. More information will be provided upon registration.
