Assignment

Every lesson has an Assignment (and corresponding Answer Key).

The assignment incorporates five key components: Write, Remember, Practice, Stretch and Review. 

In the Write portion, students are asked to reflect on an important aspect of their learning during the lesson.

In the Remember portion, students are given a very brief summary of the most important takeaways from the lesson.

In the Practice portion, students have an opportunity to demonstrate mastery by completing math tasks that represent the most important content from the lesson.

In the Stretch portion, students are provided a math task that extends the math content in the lesson. This section is intended as a challenge for students and is typically considered optional.

In the Review portion, students are provided spiraled practice of math from previous lessons.

Note: Student assignments, in the Digital Lesson Materials are assignable, which means that students will ONLY have access to assignments that have been assigned by teachers.
