Freedraw Question Type Changes: Choosing a Color (Simplified)
To make it easier for students to choose a color for the lines, dots and shapes that they can add in a free draw question, a simplified version of color selector has been added. The advanced version to choose a R,G,B value and the entire color palette is still available and can be accessed by clicking "Advanced" at the bottom of the color selector.

Click on ‘Advanced’ to get the full color palette.
Freedraw question type changes - Paint Brush Stroke
A paint brush style stroke has been added. This is the second button on the top right beside the pencil. The image below gives you an exmaple of what the Paint Brush Stroke feature looks like.
Freedraw question type changes - Pencil Tool Stays ON
The pencil tool now stays ON when selected. Users do not have to select the pencil every time they want to make a draw mark. Clicking on another button will deselect the pencil button.
Assessment .csv export changes
The following changes have been made to the Assessment .csv exports
- Export name now includes activity in file name
- Column headers font are changed to Title Case
- Times have been adjusted to be local instead of UTC
- Formatted dates are compatible with Excel/Google Sheets
Student tool use can now be identified in gradebook
The tools used by the student while working on the activities can now be identified by the teacher while evaluating the activity in the gradebook.
In the example below, the teacher can find out that the student used the eliminator tool to eliminate two answer choices before answering the question.
The following tools usage can be found: Highlighter, Eliminator, Sticky Notes, and Guideline.
Course reports data toggle
Report users now have the option to include or hide non-scorable data into the reports. To do so, turn the toggle button.
Course reports content without grades toggle
You can now toggle a button to show or hide content without grades in the reports. Content without grades includes all the curriculum content that the teacher has not yet assigned to students.
Assignment date stamp now included for submitted assignments
In the Submitted column, the teacher can now view the date on which the assignment was submitted.
Improvements
The call-to-action message to add courses was creating some confusion. The message is now being made explicit in terms of the action required by the user.
The message now reads: “Use the blue + Add Course button on the top right toolbar to select course materials for this class.”
Bug Fixes
Freedraw question type - Size of shape retained with copy and paste
When a shape is resized and copy and pasted, it now copies the exact size of the original item.
