Leadership Reports in Clear Learning Center

Data Overview

Six data metrics are featured in the report:

  • Average Score

  • Average Usage

  • Average Score by Standard

  • Average Usage by Standard

  • Class Average

  • School Average

The data updates daily.

Data Analysis Note: These six pieces of data are always calculated the same way, regardless of applied filters and date ranges.

Data Definitions

Average Score Column

A numerical average (reported at the school or class level, depending on row) of the earned score on all Interactive Assignments or Assessments.

Average Usage Column

A numerical average (reported at the school or class level, depending on row) of the time spent on all Interactive Assignments or Assessments.

Average Score by Standard Column

A numerical average (reported at the school or class level, depending on row) of the earned score on all Interactive Assignments or Assessments that contain an item or items tagged with the associated standard.

Average Usage by Standard Column

A numerical average (reported at the school or class level, depending on row) of the time spent on all Interactive Assignments or Assessments that contain an item or items tagged with the associated standard.

Class Average Row

For each of the columns defined above, the class average row is calculated by taking the mean value for all of the students within that class.  If there is no data to display, a ‘null’ value is displayed.

School Average Row

For each of the columns defined above, the class average row is calculated by taking the mean value for all of the students in all of the classes within that school.  (Please note that because the school average row is based on all students in all of the classes, it is not a simple average of all of the individual class average rows.)  If there is no data to display, a ‘null’ value is displayed.
