Reassign Functionality Added to Gradebook

As part of our continuous improvements, we’ve updated the Gradebook’s functionality to include the ability to reassign an assignment to an individual or groups of students.

  1. From an Assignment card, click Gradebook.

  2. You are now at the Gradebook Summary screen for that particular assignment.

To access the Reassign Assignment feature for an individual student, hover over the Submitted date within a row for a particular student to bring up the Unsubmit/Reassign Assignment popup.

  3. Click Reassign.

  4. You are now viewing the Assign popup window, with the individual student already selected (e.g., Demo Student G6 01).

You will need to set the Date Range, adjust the Reports & Grading toggles, and add any Student Instructions. Then, click Assign.

Note: You have just created a brand new assignment for the selected student, which will appear on the Assignments dashboard.

  5. Alternatively, you can reassign an assignment to multiple students.

From the Gradebook Summary screen for an assignment, click All Assignments.

  6. You are now viewing the All Assignments screen.

  7. Select the students that you would like to Reassign the assignment to using the checkboxes on the left-hand side.

Note: By selecting students, the Assign and Bulk Update buttons on the right-hand side become active.

  8. Click Assign.

  9. You are now viewing the Assign popup window, with the selected students already chosen (e.g., Demo Student G6 01 AND Demo Student G6 02).

You will need to set the Date Range, adjust the Reports & Grading toggles, and add any Student Instructions. Then, click Assign.

Note: You have just created a brand new assignment for each of the selected students, which will appear on the Assignments dashboard.
