Texas Math Solution Components for the 2022-2023 School Year and Beyond

Carnegie Learning Texas Math Solution (6-12), which is currently a Texas Home Learning (THL) product, will officially become an open education resource in August 2023. This means it will continue to be accessible for all Texas educators in perpetuity and include the following exciting new features.  MATHia will remain openly accessible as part of THL through August 2023 and then will be available for purchase as an optional supplement (not required to implement Texas Math Solution as tier one product).

*The following resources will be available in PDF format for the 2022-2023 school year, accessible through Carnegie Learning's digital platform and through the Texas Math Solution Support Center at carnegielearning.com/texas-help, as they are published. We have included anticpated publish dates for each resource.

TEKS - ALIGNED SKILLS PRACTICE OVERVIEW

The TEKS-aligned Skill Practice is organized by topic for each course to align with the Carnegie Learning Texas Math Solution student lessons. This Learning Individually resource gives students the opportunity to engage in additional skill building that aligns to each Learning Together lesson’s skills, concepts, and applications. The Skills Practice targets discrete skills that might require additional practice for some students to achieve mastery. For this reason, not all sections, problem sets, or individual problems need to be assigned to all students.

These will be published in the digital lesson materials for the 2022-2023 school year.

Note: Accompanying guides will also be available by end of June 2022.

ENHANCED ASSESSMENTS OVERVIEW

Enhanced Assessments incorporate TEKS and STAAR-aligned multiple-choice, open-response, and griddable questions for each topic for each course. The goal is for each enhanced assessment to be completed in one 45 minute session.

These will be published in the digital lesson materials in both printable & digital formats for the 2022-2023 school year.

MODULE FAMILY AND CAREGIVER GUIDES

The primary purpose of the Family and Caregiver Guides is to bridge student learning in the classroom to student learning at home. The goal is to empower families to understand the concepts and skills learned in the classroom and provide families with multiple strategies to reinforce the understanding of these concepts at home. Through visual representations, process standard connections, and real-world applications, families will experience doing math together, which is a great way for families to support their students.

These will be published in the digital lesson materials for the 2022-2023 school year. These resources have also been published to the Students & Caregivers portion of the Support Center.
