What is LASO 5?

Through LASO Cycle 5, Texas districts can apply for Leadership and Instructional Foundations for Texas (LIFT), a three-year opportunity to strengthen instructional leadership and the systems that support successful HQIM implementation.
 
Strong materials matter, but materials alone do not improve outcomes. Districts need leaders who can set clear expectations, support teachers, monitor implementation, respond to evidence, and sustain improvement across every campus.
 
We partner with district and campus leaders to build that capacity, including performance-management routines, leadership development, coaching, data use, and research-based instructional strategies, so HQIM becomes a lever for lasting instructional improvement.
