You Want Me to Simulate What? Exploring & Experiencing Middle School Probability Standards
Both the Guidelines for Assessment and Instruction in Statistics Education (GAISE) Report and the Common Core State Standards for Mathematics stress the importance of students understanding probability and random sampling. Students should know how to draw random samples and how to simulate probabilistic situations to draw inferences. During the webinar, we will discuss these recommendations. Then we will conduct simulations using a variety of tools.
