2020 Vision for the Future of Edtech

Thanks to all of you who came out to FETC this year.

We had an amazing time at the Future of Education Technology Conference (FETC) in Miami this month! Here were some of the highlights:

  • The LiveLab Experience - We got to show off LiveLab, our award-winning live facilitation tool in MATHia! LiveLab uses powerful artificial intelligence to give teachers real-time insight into how students are progressing through the software right there in the classroom lab. Teachers can see at a glance which skills students have mastered or are struggling with and can guide and coach them accordingly. (Want to see a demo of LiveLab? Request one here.)

  • This or That? Using A/B Testing to Optimize Learning - Dr. Steven Ritter, our Founder and Chief Scientist, shared a new initiative we are really excited about. This year, we'll be building a system to gauge how focused, research-driven changes to MATHia can advance the student learning process.  The system will eventually be made available to all educational software providers through open source, so that students everywhere can benefit from a smarter, more intuitive learning experience.

It's always a pleasure to meet educators, leaders and change-makers who are passionate about improving learning outcomes for students. We can't wait for next year!
