Our Master Math Practitioners are out working with teachers to transform classrooms all over the country, day in and day out. We're super proud of them, and want to help you get to know them a little better!
Hometown: Anaheim, California
Experience: "I taught math for 13 years and worked with the University of CA, Irvine to provide professional development for math teachers in local school districts. I also partnered with Student Achievement Partners to review instructional materials and I write a series of blog posts for them on the Standards for Mathematical Practice."
Why Carnegie Learning? "For me, it's the fact that every staff member at Carnegie Learning is focused on how we can help teachers help students. Whether it's in a product or through professional learning, the goal is the same. We want to make math education more engaging and accessible for students because we want students to see and know that they can be successful."
Fun Fact: "I love to swim with the fishes (AKA scuba dive)."
