Meet Your Master Math Practitioner: Jami Koustik

Our Master Math Practitioners are out working with teachers to transform classrooms all over the country, day in and day out. We're super proud of them, and want to help you get to know them a little better!

Hometown: Flagstaff, Arizona

Experience: 10 years as a high school math teacher and 3 years as a district math coordinator.

Why Carnegie Learning? "I loved the approach. Allowing students to talk, analyze problems, and write mathematics. The way students were engaged and ultimately the success on the district and state exams."

Fun Fact: "I like to long board with my kids around our neighborhood and along the boardwalk in San Diego."
