Computer science education for every classroom.
Applied Learning MIDDLE SCHOOL (6-8) HIGH SCHOOL (9-12) Supplemental LearningNo experience required. Zulama demystifies coding and computer science so any teacher can guide instruction and every student can learn these new core disciplines.
Request a DemoZulama was designed and written by faculty from world-renowned game design and computer science departments at MIT and Carnegie Mellon University.

Students work at their own pace through guided experiences thanks to Zulama’s blended learning approach. Teachers of any subject can facilitate learning using Zulama’s built-in video tutorials, examples, and step-by-step instructions.

Students tackle real-world problems with Zulama's project-based learning approach. They work on their own, in pairs, and in small groups to build computer science skills as well as collaboration and communication skills that are vital to their success.

Enhance traditional core courses, like History, Science, Math, and ELA. Zulama offers both stand-alone Computer Science courses and projects designed to connect learning to other subjects.
- Engaging, Relevant Learning Experiences
- College and Career Readiness
- Becoming a Digital Citizen
- Essential 21st Century Skills
Students build programming skills to create polished, portfolio-worthy projects. From Scratch to Unity, JavaScript to C#, they ideate, plan, research, design, prototype, and program their own computational apps, games, and simulations with a diverse suite of digital tools and programming languages that are appropriate across grade levels.

Prep your students for a career after they leave the classroom. Our upper level courses are based on industry-standard tools and coding languages, allowing students to learn using professional software engineering practices such as pair programming. Students prepare for certifications, such as the Unity Certified Associate Exam and the Autodesk 3ds Max Certified User Exam, while our Advanced Placement Computer Science Principles course can also help them earn college credit while still in high school.

Students develop critical skills to navigate our rapidly changing technological landscape including determining the reliability and credibility of information found online, managing their own online etiquette, and weighing the benefits and risks of online environments. Students gain an understanding of the implications of technology on the world around them to become better digital citizens.

Students work in design teams to learn highly-valued “soft skills” as they move a pair programming project from idea to completion. They take on different roles as they problem solve and think critically as they build on their talents.

Fun game design projects set the stage for students to learn key coding and computer science skills. Zulama allows students to gain confidence as they complete projects at their own pace.
Create meaningful Computer Science experiences for your students with our in-person and online support, practical strategies, first-hand insights, and more.
Explore Services"Let me assure you that all the elements are there to benefit the students regardless of their learning level. The curriculum is set up in a manner that prepares them for post-secondary education or the work force and I only wished that more courses were like this."
Denise, Educator, Randolph Technical Center, WV"A school program that applies to the real world. Fascinating!"
Stephen, Student, Harmony High School, Osceola School District, Florida"The courses are fun and insightful. They teach about history and how games came to be. I’ve probably learned and retained more historic knowledge in this class than my actual history classes."
Matt, Student, West Allegheny High School"Students today need to be challenged in an environment with a curriculum that is engaging to them and that prepares them for the world in which they are going to enter. Zulama was a perfect fit."
Dr. Bart Rocco, former Superintendent of Schools, Elizabeth Forward School District"The kids really like their classes . . . One mom said her son talks about his programming class all the time. Zulama was the right choice for us."
Deborah Laughlin, Principal, Mercyhurst Prep"Now we are modding our own games which is something everyone likes to do. This is easily my favorite class."
Jeremy Gazda, Student , West Allegheny High School"Being able to learn how to program, develop games, and design them in the future will be very helpful and give us the knowledge we may need in the future to get jobs we may want."
Xavier Santiago, Student, West Allegheny High School"Zulama provides a tool for our West Allegheny students to develop the skills and discipline necessary to succeed in future careers and educational pursuits. This goal is accomplished through high-interest, engaging programs that motivate students as they use technology in meaningful, authentic settings."
